The Rise and Fall of Camazza De Vaca

Cabazza de Vaca lived on the Isle of Misfortune with other Spaniards in 1529. He became ill and was taken back to the mainland, where he joined a tribe that gave him more freedom but also worked hard for little pay. After his illness, he decided to become a traitor by trading with the Indians so they would not kill him or take his possessions.
