Is There a Neutral Expansion?
Buddhism only refers to reality as emptiness or void. In relation to things, objects, it is not a thing. At a higher level of understanding, we realize ultimately there are no things. Things are just how the activity of consciousness appears from a localised perspective. So if we understand that there are no discrete, independently existing things, we cannot describe reality as nothing. It is legitimate to say reality is empty or void, but it is not really empty or void.
