The Republican Convention in 1968
Historians are divided whether Robert would have definitely won the democratic nomination and then the election. I think the heart of it would have been getting the nomination actually because Hubert Humphrey, the vice president, had the party machinery on his side. It might be that Bobby's charisma and the association with his brother would have gotten the nomination in the end. But when it came to the time to select the two main candidates, the soundtrack was street fighting man by the Rolling Stones and Revolution by the Beatles.
