I was investigating the death of Philip Marlowe some years ago. He's a fictional character created by Raymond Chandler at some point in the 20th century. Christopher Miles does pop up every so often as being a guy who might have lent his hand perhaps, but I don't think it's in mainstream. And it's a bit like Jim Davidson's... Send the road.
