The Antonio Fortress in Jerusalem

The Antonio fortress is a massive fortification that was used for two main purposes. It's at one of the most important places in the temple mount on its north side. The street system that exists in the old city of today is a product of Hadrian, who conquered the city in 135 A.D. We can actually reconstruct what first century Jerusalem would have looked like. And we don't know if Jesus ever made it to Calvary or not.
