The Rise of Anti-Immigration Parties

Douglas Rushkoff: The rise of anti-immigration parties is largely because of the failure of so-called mainstream centre-right parties to tackle immigration. He says there's an addiction to high levels of immigration, treated as an economic lever which some politicians claim helps growth. Rushkoff adds that it's also a failure of the centre-left and trade unionists who used to say illegal migration does nothing at all to help the economy.
