How I Got Interested in Coherence
After he did his PhD, I got my first job teaching philosophy at the University of Michigan Dearborn. Coherence as a long history of philosophy going back really to Hegel in the 19th century British idealist. But it was always very vague and mushy that was true apartments work as well. Once I figured out how to get a neural network to do it, I turned it into an algorithm which people could prove theorems about.
