Quicksand in Cartoons in the Eighties

In the 19 eighties, in particular, companies like metel and these toy makers, they started to fond cartoons that were being made really, animated, really cheaply in corea. So all these cartoons care bearers transformers, teen age mutinge turtles, scoby do heathcliff gose busters, inspector gadges, thunder cats. You've got goodies versus baddies. And at the end of every cartoon, about three quarters of the way through, there's some type of battle. The laziness of this writing is why we arrive at something like quicksand in every single episode, because it serves a purpose.
