The party starts as it means to go on, by seizing the thoughts and aspirations of the north korean people. No one ever feels quite secure. Whether you are an ordinary person who may say the wrong thing in the wrong place, you can be punished. If you are a member of the so called ilique, the higher eshalon of the party, you are subject to being on the wrong side of a factional dispute or a cleak dispute. And the results of that can be pretty catastrophic.
