The Freudian Devorating Mother
"I eat dinner probably five times before 2 p.m.," she says, "and then I kind of don't eat that much in it." In Greek mythology, the devouring mother is called Lamia who snatches up children and infants from new mothers,. She kidnaps them from new mothers and takes them to her lair. It has since taken on different incarnations; there's a Freudiandevouring as well as one by Jordan Peterson.
