When you have a passion, it's like everything else disappears. Whatever you authentically give yourself to, you will become wrapped up in that thing. What if you just gave yourself to what inspires you? You might have a different life. This whole conversation brings me back to one of my favorite quotes: "You can't just work on the days you feel good"
