How Putin’s war is reshaping Europe’s alliances
The Rachman Review
Is It a Question of Cutting Russia Out of the System?
It's back to where we were three 89, when there was very little contact between russia and the west. Probably more dangerous actually, than the cold war. And the reason is that russia feels very much alone. So you always have to protect and putin is looking for his legacy. He still tries to keep sort of russia intact. But i must admit that this is where a sort of idealism meets realism. When are we going to get russia back? I really don't know. Are we going to force ragine change from the outside? No. It's going to have to happen from the inside."
