Is There a Need for Courses?
I felt confident that because Italian was sort of similar to French that I wouldn't have too many difficulties in picking it up. When I did actually finally do a course I couldn't write Italian my written Italian is shocking. So would you say that courses are not needed? I would say so to be honest. It sounds like exposure was was essential for your language learning journey. Yes it was and also quite passive exposure so you know watching television or sort of reading the newspaper so it was quite passive what I did.
