The Average House Price in the UK
The average house price now, roughly in the UK, is about £285,000. And again, looking at the mortgage rates based on literally this week, you're looking at 5.5%. If you've only got a 10% deposit, those rates rocket. So actually, I think it's like the average is about six now. It's even higher. That is just as bad right now as it has ever been in the history of the UK. People, everyone was affected by this. People didn't just get to skip it because they had a fixed rate. Everyone was on it almost.
