The Universality of Freefall

Inertial mass describes how much an object resists acceleration when a force is applied to it. Gravitational mass describes howmuch an object exerts an attractive force on another object that it also has mass. The only reason we have this universality of freefall, the only reason why all objects fall in a gravitational field at the same rate are inertial and gravitational mass.
