The History of Comedy in the Sixties
Comedy is the one that ages most poorly for a number of reasons. But as best we can avalui him is a straight comicah, which was good. He'd always get invited on ed sullivan and variety shows with john davidson. A lot of that stuff does hold up, and most of it is because of his performance. You know, he just had a real likeability. Ah, but he was not particularly influential, i don't think, at that time. It still was an extremely bold and risky move though.
