Will There Be Functional Nuclear Powered Rockets in the Next Ten Years?

In the next 20, 30 years, i am hopeful that there will be sufficient crod missions. And then they would want to take people who are not necessarily fighter pilots. But as of to day, you have to be afighter pilot and a top class fighter pilot to be a candidate for being an astronate in india. That's how i see things. Ah, technology, it's feasible. Aem, one more question. Why can't we dump all the nuclear waste into space solve the problem? The thing is this, rockets can fail. Rockets can explode. You put nuclear waste on a rocket, the rocket goes up and explodes, then what happens? All that clear
