The Importance of Reading Ukrainian History
The history of my native city is part of the imperial history of the Russian empire. We need to include them into our research, and that's actually what I did myself with my denipro book. The majority of writers from this generation of the 60s became just Soviet writers. But in my view, both Stus and Dratch, deserve their praise in the history of Ukrainian literature.
