How to Apply for an Inky Name for an Ingredient?
The process starts by the company that wants to apply for name going to the Personal Care Product Council website. There are three major subcategories and one is even further distinguished, polymers, silicones, biotech, botanicals and fermentation. Once they fill out the application, it will go to the council staff and it will be reviewed by the science staff. The committee makes naming suggestions based on what's on the application.
