The Pope warns that contemporary man has not been trained to use power well. He says our immense technological development hasn't been accompanied by a development in human responsibility, values, and conscience. We get it from this tradition of stress on science and technology and power, right? So I mean, why do we have the capacity to think deeply about moral issues such as these? Because we've seen that it's just subjective; you don't impose your cultural consensus on others.
