Is It Possible to Be Focused on Something as a Result of Automatic Filtering?

I think where the discrepancy comes about is that cheek sent me high and many other people, I think, complete focus with attention. So they think anytime you're focused that you're necessarily attending, and I think that that's not necessarily the case. It's possible to be focused on something as a result of automatic filtering without having to have done any of that prioritization work of attention. This doesn't tell you the process that led to that result. And sometimes I think even strategically we enter into that automatic state on purpose.
