Is There a Need for Meaning in the Workplace?
i think it's one of these, if we zoom out culturally, it's just, we're at this interesting point in history right were. We've become more and more detached from the thing which used to satisfy our basic, you know, physiological and psychological needs. So how do we give people the sources of meaning, purposeful ambition, like purpose in life? If it doesn't come from the work they're doing, or whatever else is going on in their life? Like, we need to spend a lot of time thinking about that, besides just like, hey, there are no jobs. Here's some cash.
