The Importance of Class Solidarity in the Labor Market
"We're all contributing really essential labor to having Google make, you know, whatever $15 billion a quarter in profit. And so how do we also get all of these contracted workers their fair share?" she asks. "I love the focus because you do you have to encompass everybody," says Ani Durgahee. She adds that academics are like aspirational middle managers who don't think of themselves as workers and it makes things difficult when it comes to organizing.
