The Future Home Standard
The residential sector is responsible for about 20% of all energy related carbon emissions globally. Humans account for about 40% of the world's carbon emissions. The UK introduced new regulations known as the future home standard in June this year. These aim to reduce emissions by about one third compared to the previous building standards and up to 80%.
