I think some of the high end restaurants feel like it devalues their food. When I was in London, they used to fresh make all the sandwiches in the morning and at the end of the day, they would give anything left to a homeless shelter. Intention is the most important thing. What are you trying to do? Are you trying to lightly satirize in a friendly way, in a loving way or do you have negative intentions? That is the answer to your question. It's intention.
