There's this like almost an implied, I think in the Iliad is more implied and in the religious texts, it's much more explicit. And suppressing these urges, like rage, wrath, vengeance, lust, like all these things is what differentiates you from the animals and gives you that value. We're basically saying it's almost a slight reversion or combination of the ideas where it feels like a part of modernity but not nihilistic.
