Dishonesty Is a Part of a Marriage Covenant

When we are dishonest with our words, we forget that we are literally fighting against the law of God which is written into the fabric of the universe. Jesus said you can either be broken upon it or you can be smashed by it. And I think that if we would let the truth of who Jesus is, break us free from our dishonesty, we would be far less likely to make verbal owes as a means of relieving ourselves from interrogation. We actually lived with a spirit of truth telling. If when we did something wrong, we just were quick to confess it.
