How to Use Pronouns to Communicate With Your Child

Modeling what we think they're trying to say is another strategy and really minimizing questions. I have a girl who loves her arm to get scratched. She had heard from her parents saying, do you want me to scratch your own? And they would say that every time before scratching her. So a way for her to request that was saying scratch your arm. We get caught up in trying to correct it rather than acknowledging it.
