The index prize problem is a technical challenge to estimate inflation when the basket of available goods and services is constantly changing. But it doesn't sound how an even even a new solution to that proble would revolutionize economics. This is a common theme, isn't it? In each case, i which the entire field purportedly cannot appreciate, or is scared of, these fundamental, revolutionary ideastt are hard to see how there's anything there.
