The Legal Wrangling Over Chemical Abortion
Would current CVS or other pharmacy employees have legal recourse not to provide these chemical abortion pills? Or would CVS have legal ground to terminate those who refuse to do so? So I'm going to start with the lawyerly answer, which is it depends. But I think for a provider who's got a religious objection to providing what's already on provision at CVS to be asked to facilitate in chemical abortion is a further step that's going to trigger a lot of the same protections that we're talking about in this case.
