After two thousand eight you had the financial crisis, wherewith, they had to bail out a bunch of banks. And so they put in all these like rules about, like a that that constrain how big a bank can get. The problem with doing that is then when trouble comes up, the banks don't have the ability to expand their balance sheet and just make money to fix the problem. So their whole job then becomes pushing all those reserves out into the uro dollar system, out into crypto out into places beyond rgulatory control.
