XYZ VS YOKICH - Is That the MVP?

Cody: When you're trying to evaluate players there is a really tough push and pull between evaluating guys in isolation versus evaluating them within context. He says it becomes like well in comparison we're just gonna focus on the negatives instead of comparing the positives that they have. Cody, how many MVPs did wilt chamberlin have when he won his first championship? You can't just look at one player and be like well this is the MVP because of xyz blah blah blah It's hard to communicate as to this is awesome versus this is outrageous but it feels like every year  the discussion becomes more about new quote unquote arguments and less about basketball.
