How to Overcome Challenges to DEI

One thing is to do what we can to ensure that DEI isn't just a strategic initiative in our organizations. You want to make it something that's not seen as discretionary so that when times get tough, the DEI won't be cut. We also see more organizations trying to ensure that their DEI efforts are aligned with their ESG, environmental, social, and governance efforts. And sometimes that can kind of elevate the importance of DEI and the eyes of others in the organization.
