Is There a Difference Between Hobby and Hobby?

When i first got divorced, people asked me what's my hobby. And this is so different from hobbies. It pitced me off so much for some reason. But the other side of it was i was embarrassed that i just don't have hobbies,. likei but i have unicorn space. The word 'hobby' connotes infrequent or not necessary. So we're talking about o activity redefined, s unicorn space - which is actually associated with daily flourishing.
