The Impossibility of Multitasking in a Chaotic Classroom

The school had a cell phone ban that happened last year, way too late in the history of cell phones. I thought as a member of staff, it was a terrible procedure that was put in place. To an extent, by not tackling the phone first thing or in a random order of behavior, you're already not complying with the expectation. But that's not defiance on your part, that's you reasonably can't and that needs to be raised with senior leaders.
