Who Invented Radio?

On November 8, 1895, Rumpgen discovered a screen coated with barium-platino cyanide with fluoresce when a nearby gas discharge tube activated. Not long after he published his findings, researchers at the National Physics Laboratory reproduce the effect using a cathode ray tube from CHF Mueller. Also in 1927, Phillips was starting to get into the radio business. In 1932, just five years after getting into the industry, Phillips had already sold its one millionth radio set and also became the leading manufacturer of radios and radio tubes around the world.
