McCain Fine Gold vs Citizens United

Citizens United filed a lawsuit January 7, 2008 saying that they had released the movie for public sale and exhibition. They then brought a lawsuit saying we want a declaratory judgment that we can air both this movie and the and our advertisements in favor of this movie even though it would expressly run afoul of McCain fine gold. By the way, McCain fine gold chugged along six years here of working just fine. Now we have finally reached Citizens United explicitly overruled the McConnell decision from just seven years earlier.
