The Little Place Cemetery

The silence sort of drew out after that. Obviously there was some senility here, something I couldn't deal with. The most recent death seemed to be 1980 or so. Little Place was sadly pretty somehow lying under the snow. At one edge of the cemetery was a monument off to itself, about five feet high, standing beside a tree. There was a large wooden crucifix plunged into the soil in front of it and some kind of wreath had been just leaned against it.
