I Was a Youth Pastor, but Not Like the Chairs Turned Backwards in Bad Puns or Whatever

I used to be a youth pastor, which is a good thing, but there is a whole shtick now about youth pastors. I was actually on staff at the church in Reno, and it was such a fascinating time. We had this youth ministry with all of these kids, most of which were either not Christians at all or they are still figuring things out. And so we took these kids through cultural engagement, we went to museums and talked about how to receive and enjoy art as a Christian. During the summers we would connect kids with different things that they wanted to do because many of them didn't have parents that were present.
