The hotel sector typically does not do very well in recessions at all. Retail has actually held up pretty well, but limiting your exposure to retail as we potentially enter a recession is something I would definitely maintain more moderate exposure to. In terms of sectors that are more defensive, net lease has always been, for me, a more attractive property sector.
