Paul asked which foods would be the same genetically right now had humans not intervene? And i struggle to think of many. Humans have been selecting and breeding plants and animals for productivity and for deliciousness for ten thousand years at least, probably a lot longer. Artificial selection does result in genetic of organisms. That is the whole point. But a genetically modified organism isn't necessarily a g m o, which is why g m o is a terrible term.
