Isek of Syria's Torment Is a Source of Existential Dread

The catechism issued by the council of trent really doesn't paint that picture at all i've got a few examples here. Father runny is trying to update then and he is in the process departing from what i would call more the consensus of the tradition so why is it that we keep hearing the rhetoric go the other way? I think rightly this is a this is a source of existential dread and crisis for a lot of people when it comes to the faith.
