Transhumanism and the Singularity
The idea of the technological singularity has been popularized by Ray Kurzweil. The concept basically is like if you look back from the 60s till now, there's this trajectory called Moore's Law. In 2029 we should have a computer that's as powerful as a human brain,. And in 2040 we should be able to build a single computer with enough computing power for all species of human brains put together.
