Doom scrowling is the uncontrollable urge to consume terrible story, not a terrible storcingly urgent. We are trying desperately to make sense of a year that has been disruptive and devastating in so many different ways. But sometimes we can get so consumed by what is going wrong that it can keep us from seeing what is going right.
