How Did David Estimate 1.7 Million Fungal Infection Deaths?
There are virtually no international statistics on fungal infection deaths. People who get fungal infections usually have something else wrong with them as well. The estimation of 1.7 million deaths is directly linked to the number of people who are thought to have an infection and how many actually survived that infection. Even the lower level of David estimates feels like a larger number than more or less listeners like Alex might expect.
