My mother is a very kind of sweet and doesn't present as this, like, co firebrand the way my grandfather did. But she internalized a lot of those values. And so it became clear that burney sanders was one of the first politicians i had ever seen speak where they were genuinely articulating,. not just a political policy set, but a value set that resignated with me unlike anything i'd ever known.
