The Immortal Immortality Is Not a Christian Doctrine

Paul copan gave a unplenary talk at our recent conference, and ill just isa little quote from him. He says, the doctrine of the immortal immortality is allways a pagan doctrine and not a christian one at all. A gordan f as well said a the same kind of thing. So then you have someone like tetullian came along and argued strongly that the body is necessary to be a full human beingw he laid out various arguments for that. But even today, we have a reiteration of these ancient points. It comes out of greek pagan philosophy. That's simply a pagan point of view.
