Finch flew in her usual circle. No gnomes. What was that? Finch flew around again. She couldn't quite make out what was in there. Aha! The people had been there after all, and they left twigs and a yarn and pine needles. They must be trying to attract gnomes. Gnomes must build nests with twigs like we do. Have you ever found a gnome's lost pocket watch? Leave it near the foot of a tree,. You might get to see the gnome return to fetch it. But she couldn't remember him mentioning anything about gnome nests.
