Elaine was diagnosed with cancer the same day she found rake. Rake is a japanese healing practice that promotes relaxation through gentle touch. Elaine and her family eventually did pack up their r v and hit the road. They spent two whole years visiting 20 states and in national parks. It was on that epic journey that elane got more in touch with her creative side. I kind of rekindled my passion for art as we travelled in the arv around for two years. I just re connected with nature, and that's a lot of my subject matter for my art. Now, i use it as a meditative practice to find peace and calm in a crazy worldnd,.
Elaine picked up watercolor painting during her two year, cross country RV adventure with her family. She quickly fell in love with gorgeous nature scenes and found the creative process meditative and healing. But now she’s wondering if her art could be something more.
