The ATR's Tax Reporting Guidelines
The ATR records that if all Australians were paying the correct amount of tax, they would have received 479.8 billion dollars. That figure still means that 93% of people in Australia are paying what they owe. We've said this on the podcast before, please substantiate your claims. The Golden Rule at tax time for everybody in our community is if you can't substantiate it, don't claim it.
